Kristo lands an elbow just above Donato 's eye. Kristo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. #CUT2# It looks like Billy Donato has been cut. Donato managing to block the knees to the body from Kristo.
Kristo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Donato is defending well for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donato is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. and Khun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Billy Donato has been cut. We've been hearing reports that Donato has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#CL# Donato has taken the fight to the clinch.
Khun's coach down at Ice Cream Parlour was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Khun's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Khun softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Khun lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Khun misses with a punch on the inside.
Khun tries a body shot but Donato blocks it.
Khun lands a hook that snaps the head of Donato backwards. Khun lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Donato backwards. #BC2# Khun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Khun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Donato has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Khun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Donato moves away. Nice sprawl there from Khun as Donato shoots in. Donato tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khun swivels and escapes. Donato steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khun. Donato walks into a straight right hand from Khun. A good leg kick by Khun. #T2# Donato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donato tries to close the distance and clinch but Khun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Khun missing with a left hand there. Donato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Khun throws out a loose jab but Donato uses good head movement to avoid it. Gok Won Khun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Donato slips a straight right by Khun. Donato chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khun can pounce on him.
Khun fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Donato on the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khun misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Donato.
Donato keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Khun. Donato half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#T3# Khun lands a head shot.#ROC2# Donato is rocked! Donato wants to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Khun throws a body shot but no joy. Donato changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Khun lands a slapping body shot.
Donato is breathing heavily. A good leg kick by Khun. Donato takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oh Donato is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Donato glances at the clock... BAM! Khun nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Donato crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Donato is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

#R1# Donato tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kwadwo counters with a lovely shot to the body. Donato moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Donato shoots and misses and Kwadwo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Donato definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Donato tries to clinch and Kwadwo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Donato misses with a takedown attempt and Kwadwo counters with a straight right hand. Kwadwo lands with a good body shot. Kwadwo circles away from the clinch attempt letting Kwadwo counter with a right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice shot by Kwadwo.#T1# Donato swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kwadwo counters with a crisp right that sends Donato to the canvas! Kwadwo follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Mwenye Kwadwo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Donato has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
