#R1# Marshall tries for a takedown but Schroder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. It looked like Schroder wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Schroder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schroder wants it to stay on the feet. Marshall has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Schroder is landing a low percentage of strikes.#TD# Schroder shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marshall's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Marshall has his foot on Schroder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schroder works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB2# Marshall working for a triangle but Schroder defends it easily.

#R1# Marshall is trying hard to land a takedown here. Greguric sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Marshall takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marshall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Greguric defends well and Marshall ends up having to push Greguric into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Marshall tries for a takedown but Greguric circles away easily and Greguric counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tin Greguric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Marshall. Marshall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greguric tries to avoid it but Marshall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greguric to the ground. Greguric escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD# Greguric shoots in from a long way out.
