Suckerpunch lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Maloney or not. Maloney looks winded! Suckerpunch has Maloney pushed against the cage. Suckerpunch tries a knee to the head but Maloney blocks it.

Gothic Line decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. Maloney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2# Ben feints and as Maloney raises his hands in defense, Ben changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ben trying to control but Maloney is working from the bottom. Ben won't allow Maloney to get back to his feet. Ben is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maloney wants to get back to his feet but Ben is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ben is stalling in the full guard. Ben trying to control but Maloney is working from the bottom. #T1# Ben pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maloney swats away the attempt to clinch by Stienis. Stienis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maloney pinned against the cage. Maloney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stienis misses with the combination.
Maloney throws a nice looking combination but Stienis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Crunch! Stienis slams his shin into Maloney's torso. Stienis moves out of range as Maloney strikes. Stienis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Nice uppercut lands for Maloney. That snapped Stienis's head back.
