McWrestle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McWrestle drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. McWrestle fails to land the takedown. McWrestle has a takedown stuffed. Slaughter lands an overhand right. McWrestle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slaughter pinned against the cage. Slaughter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wrestle McWrestle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slaughter cracks McWrestle with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.#T1# Slaughter lands with a right hand. Slaughter connects with a jab. McWrestle takes a jab on the nose there. Slaughter's coach down at My Yard 'Alcatraz' was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slaughter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Slaughter throws out a powerful jab. McWrestle looks up at the clock. Bad move! Slaughter lands a right hand from hell, dropping McWrestle. Slaughter pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doctor Slaughter! In his post fight interview, Doctor Slaughter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Sloppy strikes from Slaughter. Those never looked like landing. Jamakin Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slaughter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Slaughter throws a hook to the side of Me's head but Me sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Me paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Me dodges the punch combination from Slaughter.
Slaughter misses with a series of wild punches.
Me slips a jab from Slaughter. We've been told by Slaughter's head coaches at My Yard 'Alcatraz' that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sloppy strikes from Me. Those never looked like landing. Me takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Me fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Slaughter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Me showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slaughter.
It seemed like Me was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Slaughter throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Me to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slaughter looks to land a left hand but Me moved out of range nicely. Me connects with a right hand. Slaughter shakes it off. Me moves away from the strike by Slaughter. Slaughter drops his hands for a split second and Me immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Slaughter face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Me follows up with a right hand that knocks Slaughter into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jamakin Me! Jamakin Me tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Wilson lands an elbow inside that Slaughter shrugs off. #CUT# It looks like Doctor Slaughter has been cut. Wilson looking to stall.

Slaughter moves into range and connects with a jab. Slaughter stuns Ferri with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ferri takes a swing at Slaughter's ribcage but misses. Slaughter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Ferri takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Slaughter throws an ugly left hook that misses

#R1# Slaughter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pertti on the side of the head. Slaughter throws out a powerful jab. Slaughter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Slaughter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pertti eats them both and turns towards Slaughter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Pertti lands a big right hook! Slaughter looks hurt but is still standing! Pertti lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Slaughter falls down and Pertti dives in with a huge hammer fist! Slaughter's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Pertti runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
