#R1# Crane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniel Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crane wants to clinch but Lapu slips to the side and Lapu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Crane thinking. Crane looks to land a body kick but Lapu moved away. Crane looks to land a combination but Lapu avoids it well. Lapu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Crane with a body shot. Lapu lands a right hook to the body.
Crane with a nice cross. A decent looking cross lands there for Lapu. Lapu tries to bum rush Crane with a series of wild strikes but Crane uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lapu just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromCrane. Crane takes one on the button. Lapu lands a nice hook to Crane's body. Crane takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lapu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crane. Lapu doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. This has been an exciting period of action! Lapu sizes up Crane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Crane swinging wildly here.
#T1# Crane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lapu tries to avoid it but Crane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lapu to the ground. Lapu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Crane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lapu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Crane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lapu counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crane is breathing heavily. Lapu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lapu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#KD2# Lapu cracks Crane with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crane looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lapu finish him?
#ROC2# Crane is rocked! Crane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lapu lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Crane is looking to close the distance but Lapu sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Crane crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Crane is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
