#R1# Wesbank doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Hawkins counter with a right hand. Hawkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wesbank on the side of the head. Wesbank takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hawkins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hawkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wesbank on the side of the head.#CL# Wesbank rushes Hawkins and presses him up against the cage. Wesbank tries for a takedown but Hawkins manages to get underhooks.
Still in the clinch, Hawkins scores with a nice short uppercut. Wesbank has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hawkins avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukas Wesbank. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC# Wesbank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
