#R1# Kimura closes the distance and clinches up with Man Savage, looking for a takedown. Kimura pushes Man Savage against the cage but Man Savage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kimura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Man Savage takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Man Savage lands with an overhand left. Kimura avoids the head kick by Man Savage.
Kimura throws a hook but Man Savage blocks it. Man Savage stuffs the takedown. Man Savage connects with a single shot there. Man Savage scores with a hook. Kimura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

#TD# and Kimura counters with a shoot takedown. Fry fights it but they end up in guard. We've been hearing good reports from Kimura's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Fry keeping full guard, as Kimura tries to pass. Kimura postures up in Fry's guard and throws a big left but Fry blocks it. Kimura looking to pass the guard. Kimura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fry working a defensive guard here.

Kimura engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Buakaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yaw-Yan MMA in the buildup to the fight. Buakaw lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kimura loads up on a big right hand but Buakaw slips the punch. Buakaw feints a jab promting Kimura to slip. Buakaw then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kimura slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Buakaw connects with a nice looking jab.
