#R1# Lothbrok scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lothbrok. Lothbrok has a takedown stuffed. Jones shoots for a takedown but Lothbrok saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lothbrok drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jones defends it well. Lothbrok misses with a wild combination.
Lothbrok shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Lothbrok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lothbrok lands a jab to Jones's midsection. Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lothbrok's waist but Lothbrok gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side. Lothbrok has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jones is landing a low percentage of strikes.#T1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Lothbrok throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lothbrok is in Jones's guard. Jones is trying to keep Lothbrok in close.
Jones has momentary wrist control but Lothbrok slips an elbow through the middle. Lothbrok slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Lothbrok with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.#T2# Lothbrok stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Lothbrok working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lothbrok trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Lothbrok is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lothbrok lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jones is trying to keep Lothbrok in close.

Jones could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lothbrok passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lothbrok is working away from the top position though. Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lothbrok's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lothbrok's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A lull in the action here.

#T4# Jones not allowing Lothbrok to control his hands. Lothbrok might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jones trying to control momentarily.
Lothbrok just trying to survive but Jones is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Jones is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #SUB# Salazar looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Salazar controls his leg. Salazar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Jones sitting and controlling from the half guard. Salazar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Salazar looking for submissions off his back.#T1# Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. #SUB# Salazar actively working from the bottom here. Jones controlling the action here. Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#T2# Well. Tyler Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Jones prefers to stall for the moment though. Bonner is trying to buck Jones off. Bonner is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Bonner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SU2# Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jones looks for a takedown here.
