Gonzales continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gonzales creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Gonzales doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

#R1# Hawkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hawkins looks to throw the jab but Kucharski is out of range. Kucharski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hawkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kucharski wants to clinch but Hawkins slips to the side and Hawkins counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hawkins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kucharski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kucharski moves to clinch but Hawkins breaks away and Hawkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kucharski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.#T1# Kucharski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hawkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Kucharski is just out of range. Hawkins lets Kucharski back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2# Kucharski is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Damian Kucharski has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kucharski drops his hands momentarily. Hawkins doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kucharski staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kucharski doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

#R1# Petrucci throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kucharski tries to counter with a clinch but Petrucci shakes him off and moves away. Kucharski doesn't manage to clinch there - Petrucci circles away.
Petrucci tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kucharski was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrucci. Petrucci slips under a jab. It looked like Petrucci wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kucharski slips a jab from Petrucci.#CL2# Petrucci tries to keep at a distance but Kucharski has taken the fight into the clinch. Petrucci wants to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kucharski displaying some good clinch control by pressing Petrucci up against the cage. Kucharski is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kucharski has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Petrucci is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Petrucci is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kucharski.

Kucharski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Decker to keep the fight standing.#TD2# Kucharski pulls guard successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kucharski is trying to control the position but Decker postures up. #SUB2# Kucharski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Decker defends it easily. Kucharski is trying to control the position but Decker postures up. #SUB2# Kucharski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Decker should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Fitzpatrick is trying to maintain a safe position but Kucharski gets an underhook and turns Fitzpatrick into the cage. Fitzpatrick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2# Kucharski jumps guard.
#SUB2# Kucharski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fitzpatrick stacks Kucharski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fitzpatrick! Kucharski is trying to control Fitzpatrick's posture but Fitzpatrick avoids it. Kucharski is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kucharski manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fitzpatrick's best efforts.#T1# Kucharski wants to control but Fitzpatrick is keeping busy.
