Stallion lands with a short head shot on the inside. Stallion working some nice short punches in the clinch. Stallion lands a shoulder strike. Stallion blocking some punches.
Stallion lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stallion pushes Smith back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.#ROC# Smith is rocked! Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Stallion pushes Smith against the cage. Stallion is working some dirty boxing. Stallion pushes off with a quick right hook! Smith goes down! Smith tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Stallion moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Marquez misses with a right hand and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Marquez. Marquez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Marquez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Smith blocks a head kick by Marquez.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Smith! But no joy. Smith throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Marquez on the wrong end of a nice jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Smith avoids the head kick by Marquez.
Marquez looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range. Smith looks like he wants to counter punch here. Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Marquez misses with an uppercut
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand. Marquez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Marquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith digs a good body shot into Marquez's ribs.#T1# Smith connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Marquez tumbling to the canvas! Smith pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Marquez was done - good stoppage!

Mcgregor is looking to land body kicks. A combination from Smith does no damage. Mcgregor throws a combination that misses and Smith makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Left hook, right uppercut from Mcgregor. Mcgregor tries to land a body kick and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. An inside leg kick lands from Mcgregor. Mcgregor throws a head kick that Smith semi-blocks.
Smith takes one to the side of the head.
Conor Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Mcgregor. Some wild striking there from Smith.
Mcgregor gets off balance looking for a body kick and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mcgregor connects with a jab. Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mcgregor can pounce on him.
Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mcgregor scores with a kick to the body.

Smith looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. A decent looking body kick lands there for Mcgregor. This has been an exciting period of action! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick. Mcgregor misses with a hook.#T2# Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Mcgregor moves out of range easily. Mcgregor connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Mcgregor fakes the leg kick and cracks Smith in the body. Mcgregor lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Mcgregor throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Mcgregor takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Mcgregor keeps Smith at a distance using the push kick. Mcgregor moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Mcgregor throws a quick inside leg kick. Smith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mcgregor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brown thuds a left hand into Smith's body. Smith cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've been hearing reports that Smith has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Smith misses with an uppercut. Smith misses with a hook.#T1# Smith closes the distance but Brown moves to the side #TD2# and Brown counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Brown slows the pace down in half guard. #SUB2# Brown is working for a kimura but Smith is defending it quite comfortably.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Smith! Smith wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Brown.

He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Smith looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Brown! Submission of the night perhaps?

enabling Hughes to counter with a crisp jab. Smith misses the body punch and Hughes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circling - Hughes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A quick step to the side and Smith tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Smith misses with a hook
and Hughes counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith throws a leg kick but Hughes sees it coming and moves out of range. Smith misses with a double jab
and Hughes scores with a counter punch that sends Smith to the canvas! Hughes smells blood - he's punishing Smith with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Smith has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

#R1# Smith feints a jab promting Neves to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Neves slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Neves at a distance.
#TD# Neves gets the takedown into side control. Smith is looking to regain half guard here but Neves keeps moving and retains side control. Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Smith is still trying to improve position. Neves landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. #SUB# Neves tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Neves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Neves looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #T1##SUB# Neves has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Neves yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Spriggins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Smith is proving hard to escape from. #SUB# Smith pushes a forearm under Spriggins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Spriggins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Smith swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Knee. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knee shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Smith lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tony Smith seems to be getting the better of the standup. Smith scores with a crisp jab that stopped Knee in his tracks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
