#R1# Owens throws the left hand but Roberts avoids the punch easily. Owens throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Roberts scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Owens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roberts manages to avoid it. Owens misses with an uppercut. Roberts saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Roberts on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Owens swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A quick step to the side and Roberts tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Owens shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roberts sprawls well. Roberts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Owens gets slowly back to his feet. Roberts has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owens shoots in looking for a takedown. Roberts tries to sprawl out of it but Owens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roberts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #T1# Owens has his takedown stuffed and Roberts counters with a series of strikes. Owens will be more careful next time no doubt. Rick Roberts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kolbee Owens.#TD2# Owens scores with a takedown into Roberts's guard. Owens is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Owens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Owens tries to free his leg and advance position but Roberts is retaining full guard. Roberts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Owens's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Owens postures up.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Owens doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roberts is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. It looks like Owens might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Owens throws out a loose jab but Roberts uses good head movement to avoid it. Roberts throws a big counter combination but Owens scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Owens shoots in for a takedown but Roberts shows good takedown defense. Roberts was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Owens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roberts moves away. Roberts throws a body punch but Owens moves out of range. Roberts swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Owens feints the counter takedown. Roberts misses with an uppercut. Owens saw that one coming. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roberts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roberts wants it to stay on the feet. Owens tries for a takedown but Roberts sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Roberts misses the target. Roberts uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Owens.

That was a close round but I would say that Rick Roberts will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2##TD2# Owens shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Owens showed some decent athleticism there. Roberts regains full guard. Kolbee Owens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Roberts gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Owens is controlling the pace.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kolbee Owens. I think Owens has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# A head kick misses from Greenwood. A quick step to the side and Roberts tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Greenwood throws a nice looking combination but Roberts bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It's a brutal combination of punches from Greenwood! Roberts is backing up but he can't get away as Greenwood lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Roberts and ends the fight. Great knockout.
