Nelson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sor Ploenchit if he has to take too many more of those.
Nelson slips a jab and a cross from Sor Ploenchit.
Sor Ploenchit lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nelson at a distance.
Sor Ploenchit drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Nelson right on the button. Nelson goes down! Sor Ploenchit follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sor Ploenchit gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaensak Sor Ploenchit!
A less than humble Kaensak Sor Ploenchit misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Chief Ute will probably get the nod.

Nelson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nelson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nelson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
