#R1##TD# And Win M shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pearsons manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pearsons trying to keep a closed guard but And Win M is proving a slippery customer.
#SUB# And Win M postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pearsons is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of And Win M, into his guard. #REVB# Pearsons looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SUB# And Win M looking for a guillotine here but Pearsons defends easily.
And Win M keeping moving, preventing Pearsons from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# And Win M working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pearsons doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but And Win M is tightening it up a little... Pearsons has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pearsons reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pearsons taps out! Nice BJJ there by And Win M!

#R1##CL# Pearsons gets tackled into the cage by Cooper. Cooper maintains the clinch. Cooper lands with a short shot to the head. Cooper lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A body shot lands from Cooper.
Pearsons is trying to drag Cooper to the mat but Cooper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Cooper lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pearsons backwards. Cooper creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pearsons's defenses. #CUT# It looks like Paul Pearsons has been cut. Cooper stalls. Pearsons takes an elbow to the temple. Cooper cracks Pearsons with a nice body shot. Cooper lands an elbow inside that Pearsons shrugs off. Pearsons wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cooper doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
#T1# Cooper lands an uppercut. Pearsons blocks an uppercut.
Cooper tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pearsons's elbow. Cooper stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Cooper lands an elbow just above Pearsons 's eye. Pearsons wants to take the fight to the mat but Cooper manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Cooper's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cooper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A right hand to the body from Cooper.
Still in the clinch, Cooper scores with a nice short uppercut. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cooper. Pearsons looks winded! Cooper stalling against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cooper lands a body shot. Cooper lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pearsons or not. Cooper lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pearsons backwards. A nice glancing elbow lands by Cooper. #CUT# That has opened up Paul Pearsons's cut even more. Cooper lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Cooper comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT# Paul Pearsons's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Cooper misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Winston Cooper! In his post fight interview, Winston Cooper started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Pearsons fails with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Day. No joy for Pearsons on that attempt. #TD# Day fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pearsons sprawls well initially but Day persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Day is nestled in close to Pearsons, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pearsons strikes from the bottom but Day uses the opportunity to move to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Day is putting a hurting on Pearsons here, landing some big shots from side control. Day working the head with strikes. #ROC# Pearsons is rocked! Day cracks Pearsons with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Day immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Pearsons is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Day!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morris Day! After winning the bout, Morris Day thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Naikkorine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pearsons pinned against the cage. Pearsons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD# Pearsons feints and as Naikkorine raises his hands in defense, Pearsons changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Naikkorine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Pearsons looking to sit in guard and control but Naikkorine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pearsons controls Naikkorine momentarily but Naikkorine frees himself. Naikkorine slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #T1# Naikkorine's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Pearsons is trying to control the position but Naikkorine postures up. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Naikkorine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Naikkorine is stalling in the full guard. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Naikkorine has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#TD2# Naikkorine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Naikkorine lands in his opponent's guard.#ES# Pearsons is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #T3# Pearsons prevents a body shot from Naikkorine. Naikkorine throws a head punch that misses. Naikkorine dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Pearsons is looking to take this one to the mat.#BC# Pearsons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #TD# Pearsons fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Naikkorine to the ground. Pearsons is now in Naikkorine's guard.#T4# Naikkorine wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Pearsons looking to sit in guard and control but Naikkorine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Naikkorine tries to stand but Pearsons is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Naikkorine controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pearsons wants to get back to his feet but Naikkorine is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Pearsons dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Pearsons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Naikkorine moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Naikkorine swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Pearsons tries a head kick but it misses.
#TD# Naikkorine tries to sprawl but Pearsons drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pearsons stalling away here and it's allowed Naikkorine to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Pearsons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Naikkorine is pulling down on Pearsons's head. It's preventing any offense from Pearsons, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1##SUB2# Naikkorine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #SUB2# Pearsons is sitting in close to Naikkorine's body. Naikkorine has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pearsons is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pearsons is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Naikkorine.

Yanoska stays in close to Pearsons's body and controls the position. Yanoska wants to pass the guard but Pearsons is keeping the position.#SU# Yanoska gets to his feet. Pearsons looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yanoska misses with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yanoska.#T1# Yanoska tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pearsons counters with a solid body kick. #TD# Yanoska is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pearsons's half guard. Pearsons gets full guard. Pearsons wants to improve his position but instead Yanoska has moved into half guard.
Yanoska seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Yanoska seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pearsons does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Yanoska is thwarting Pearsons's attempts to control the position. Yanoska is keen to just control but Pearsons is a slippery customer.#T2# Pearsons on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Yanoska passes the guard and advances to mount! Yanoska takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pearsons is looking to improve his position but Yanoska isn't that keen on the idea.#SUB# Yanoska quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Yanoska but it's paid off an Pearsons is forced to tap! Nice work by Yanoska.

Pearsons is looking to counter with a body kick. Cormier keeps the fight on the outside.#TD2# Cormier drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pearsons is trying to control Cormier's posture but Cormier avoids it. Pearsons is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cormier off and has taken his back! Pearsons not allowing Cormier to control his hands. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A lull in the action here.

Pearsons lands an elbow to the side of the head. Cormier tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Cormier is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pearsons looking to control but Cormier is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cormier tries to reverse the position but Pearsons maintains control. He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Pearsons looking to finish Cormier with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cormier!
