Ortega trying to control but Ruiz is working from the bottom. Ortega working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ruiz has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ortega missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruiz keeping full guard, as Ortega tries to pass. #SU# Ortega stands and steps away. Ruiz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Ortega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves.
