#R1# Jahr fails with the takedown. Jahr's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jahr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Jahr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#CL# Cobra instigates a clinch. Cobra works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Jahr takes a shot to the head. Jahr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've been hearing reports that Cobra has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobra presses Jahr against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Cobra lands a nice shot to the body. Nice body punch from Cobra. Cobra lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jahr or not. Cobra cracks Jahr with a nice body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cobra digs a right hand into Jahr's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jahr's gas tank. Cobra throws a big uppercut that drops Jahr! More strikes from Cobra and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Jahr lies dazed against the cage as Cobra celebrates with his cornermen!

#R1# Saku lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Saku attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. We've been told by Saku's head coaches at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice sprawl there from Saku as Jahr shoots in. Nice sprawl there from Saku as Jahr shoots in. Jahr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Oroku Saku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kylo Jahr. Jahr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jahr tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.#TD2# Jahr feints and as Saku raises his hands in defense, Jahr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB# Saku has his foot on Jahr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jahr works his way back into a safe position though. Saku will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jahr passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jahr tries to move into full mount but can't pass Saku's legs. Saku gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! #T1# Jahr wants to take Saku's back here but Saku is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Saku tries to lock up and control but Jahr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jahr is looking to work his way around to Saku's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Saku is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. #SUB2# Saku defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jahr. Saku is desperately trying to improve his position but Jahr has a good base and remains in mount. Jahr wants to control the pace but Saku is squirming around nicely. Jahr avoids the attempt from Saku to control. Jahr wants to take Saku's back but he can't do it this time. #T2# Saku is looking to improve his position but Jahr isn't that keen on the idea. Saku knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jahr on the ground. Saku wants to control but Jahr is having none of it. Jahr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Saku is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. #SUB2# Jahr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Saku can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

#R1# James fails with a takedown attempt. James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jahr avoids it really well and circles away. An attempted straight right counter from Jahr misses the target. James dives in and grabs Jahr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jahr pushes down on James's head and hops out. Kylo Jahr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson James.#TD# Jahr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. James looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB# Jahr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SUB# Jahr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jahr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jahr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Jahr goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, James rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jahr's guard! Nice work there by James! Jahr wants to sweep but no luck. In the red corner, competing out of The Island, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Kylo Jahr! And in the blue corner, fighting out of The Island, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Vitor Pires! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pires pushes Jahr up against the ropes in a clinch. Pires jumps into guard, dragging Jahr to the mat.
Jahr stands and throws Pires's legs to the side, diving into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Jahr (3) vs (0) Pires Pires wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Jahr has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Pires's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jahr is looking to advance position but Oleynik won't allow it. #SUB2# Oleynik looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oleynik trying to control from the bottom.

Murphy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jahr presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Jahr lands a heavy elbow. Jahr lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jahr controlling the pace for now. Jahr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jahr working away from the top, dropping strikes.#ROC# Murphy is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Donagh Murphy has been cut. #R1# Jahr with a lazy takedown attempt and Tohurt counters with a good, hard body kick but Jahr shrugs it off. Jahr tries to clinch there but Tohurt circles away.

Jahr looks winded! Tohurt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tohit Tohurt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tohurt clobbers Jahr with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #CUT# It looks like Kylo Jahr has been cut. Tohurt scores with a body shot.
Tohurt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.#KD# Tohurt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jahr sprawling to the canvas! Jahr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tohurt finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tohurt sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Jahr's defenses. It connects perfectly with Jahr's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
