Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Abul Khayr Belabed (ranked 4490 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob $tone (ranked 22333 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob $tone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Abul Khayr Belabed! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Rob $tone! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. $tone clinches up against the cage. $tone has clasped his hands together around Belabed's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Vega comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Truth - Atomic thunder kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Oh Belabed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Belabed is breathing heavily. Belabed wants to sweep here but Waters controlling him for the moment. Waters throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Belabed works some decent striking defense from the bottom. No joy there for Gross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kaiba accidentally thumps the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belabed has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Razos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Belabed defends well and Razos ends up having to push Belabed into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Razos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

And that's the end of the fight! Abul Khayr Belabed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Belabed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
