#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Simard throws a head kick that misses. Wyadd is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyadd darts in looking for a takedown but Simard gets double underhooks and turns Wyadd into the cage. Wyadd tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Simard defends well and Wyadd ends up having to push Simard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#T1##CL# Simard moves into the clinch. Wyadd tries to pull guard but Simard forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Cedric Simard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Wyadd. Wyadd wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#TD# Simard pulls guard successfully.
Simard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wyadd's guard. #REVR# Simard stops Wyadd from standing up. Wyadd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Simard with a flurry of punches that miss. #T2# Wyadd trying to keep a closed guard but Simard is proving a slippery customer.
Simard advances to half guard. #SUB# Simard is trying for a kimura here. Wyadd looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Simard wins by kimura!
