The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prison sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Prison looking to control and managing it successfully. Prison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Prison unloads with some shots from mount but Kohinata bucks and avoids them well.
#SUB# Prison quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Prison but it's paid off an Kohinata is forced to tap! Nice work by Prison.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Scott Prison!
