Prison is just content to waste time from the top position. Hasselhoff takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Prison wants to get up but he can't break Hasselhoff's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hasselhoff is pulling down on Prison's head. It's preventing any offense from Prison, at least for the moment. Prison passes Hasselhoff's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hasselhoff might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Prison stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hasselhoff blocking the ground and pound attempt from Prison. #T1# Prison trying to control from half guard but Hasselhoff is working away. It looks like Prison is going to stand back up.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Prison's guard. Lane slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prison on the ground. Prison taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Prison postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #SUB2# Kohinata looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prison pushing down on Kohinata's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Prison passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kohinata! #T1# Prison misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kohinata really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Prison sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Prison looking to control and managing it successfully. Prison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Prison unloads with some shots from mount but Kohinata bucks and avoids them well.
