#R1# Prion throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
#CUT2# It looks like Trey Eiermann has been cut. Eiermann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Prion avoids it really well and circles away.#CL# Eiermann has taken the fight to the clinch.
Eiermann lands an uppercut. Prion is trying to break free.#TD# Eiermann jumps guard and drags Prion to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #SUB# Eiermann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prion defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prion trying to stand up but can't free himself from Eiermann's guard.#T1# Prion won't allow Eiermann to sweep him here. Eiermann managing to control the position. Eiermann lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Eiermann content to stall in guard here. Prion is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Eiermann is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Eiermann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Eiermann controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Prion has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Eiermann has passed into side control.
Eiermann takes a little break here. Prion wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.#T3# Eiermann seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Prion for as long as he can get away with. Eiermann's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Eiermann postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#SUB# Eiermann tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SU# Eiermann decides to take the fight back to the feet. Eiermann fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Eiermann will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Prion with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eiermann fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trey Eiermann dominated that round. The cut man is working on Trey Eiermann's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Eiermann ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Eiermann blocks a head kick by Prion.
Eiermann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #CL# Eiermann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Prion, pushing him back against the cage. Eiermann jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Prion walks away with a smile on his face. Eiermann gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL# Eiermann gets a clinch. #BC# Eiermann manages to break the clinch.
Prion tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Eiermann scores with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prion lands a high kick!
Prion lands a big head kick that sends Eiermann to the canvas! Prion follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
