He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mamoru working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ryokale. Ryokale has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. and Mamoru counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.#CL# Mamoru rushes Rad and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mamoru stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
#TD# Mamoru works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SU# Mamoru stands up from guard. As Delac looks to move away, Mamoru throws a big counter combo but Delac just gets out of the way. Delac cracks Mamoru with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Delac uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mamoru.
Jab by Mamoru. Delac tries to clinch but Mamoru is having none of it. It looked like Mamoru wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Delac slips a jab and a cross from Mamoru.
Mamoru lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Delac backs up against the ropes.

Bakiyev has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Takemura is landing a low percentage of strikes. Bakiyev takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Takemura slips a straight right by Bakiyev. Takemura was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Takemura stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Takemura throws the left hand but Bakiyev avoids the punch easily. Good shot there by Takemura. Takemura's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Takemura duly obliges. Takemura throws the left hand but Onyedikachi avoids the punch easily. Takemura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Onyedikachi darts in trying to clinch and Takemura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Takemura ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Onyedikachi looks to clinch and Takemura counters with a lovely shot to the body. Onyedikachi tries to close the distance and clinch but Takemura swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ousmane Onyedikachi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Takemura misses with a straight left. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hanny moves to clinch but Takemura breaks away and Takemura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hanny walks into a stiff left hand from Takemura. A decent looking cross lands there for Takemura. Hanny shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hanny tries to clinch up and Takemura counters with a straight right hand. Hanny darts in trying to clinch and Takemura counters with a stiff right hand. #ROC# Hanny is rocked! Takemura connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hanny is still on wobbly legs! Can Takemura finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Takemura circles away from the clinch attempt and Takemura counters with a straight right hand.#T1# Hanny wants to clinch and Takemura counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Hanny off his feet! Klein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takemura throws out the jab. Klein is looking to counter the offense by Takemura and move into the clinch. Klein lands with a slapping head kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takemura pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
