Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rodrizinho Chai (ranked 5504 p4p, 514 weight class) and Frando Delmar (ranked 23725 p4p, 598 weight class). Frando Delmar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Rodrizinho Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Frando Delmar! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Delmar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chai but Chai pushes him off and we're back to square one. Delmar shoots in and drives through. Chai sprawls well. Delmar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chai tries to avoid it but Delmar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chai to the ground. Chai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chai seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Rodrizinho Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frando Delmar. Delmar shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Delmar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Carter thows a left - swing and a miss! A jab from Carter misses. Delmar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Delmar somewhat. Carter works Delmar's body with a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed right hand from Carter misses the target. Carter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Delmar shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Carter for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Nick Carter. Delmar fails with the takedown. A quick step to the side and Carter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. And that's the end of the fight! Nick Carter showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carter, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
