#R1# Matoba lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#KD# Oooooh!!! Matoba has knocked Beretti down with a huge combo! Matoba steps away and waves a wobbly Beretti back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC# Beretti is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Billy Beretti has been cut.#CL# Matoba clinches. Beretti is still on wobbly legs! Can Matoba finish him?#TD2# Beretti ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Beretti no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Matoba stopping the sweep attempt from Beretti. Matoba trying to control the position from guard on top but Beretti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB2# Beretti working for a triangle but Matoba defends it easily.
Beretti seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Beretti seems to have recovered his senses. Matoba tries to stand but Beretti is controlling from the bottom. Beretti controlling Matoba's posture. #SUB2# Beretti is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Beretti pulls Matoba in close to his closed guard and prevents Matoba from doing any damage or advancing position.#T1##SUB2# Beretti has his feet on Matoba's thighs here. He's pushed Matoba off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Matoba screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Billy Beretti! A victorious Billy Beretti thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. In defeat, Nathan Matoba stepped up to the mic, saying 'Good job, keep it up. Ganbatte!'.
