Popov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Castro was done - good stoppage!

Castro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vieira. Castro is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Vieira. Vieira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Castro but Castro pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jeff Castro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolas Vieira. Vieira shoots in looking for a takedown but Castro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vieira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vieira checks the leg kick. Castro tries to land a front kick but Vieira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Nice sprawl there from Castro as Vieira shoots in. Castro fails with a takedown attempt. #R1##TD# Castro closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fuentes's guard. Fuentes wants to get back to his feet but Castro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Castro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Castro with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.#CUT# It looks like Pedro Fuentes has been cut.#SUB# Castro drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Castro seems to have locked his on tight now - Fuentes screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Castro, as he picks up the win!

Castro goes for a double leg but Mongo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mongo continues to drive forward.#TD2# Mongo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Castro could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mongo with the ground and pound but Castro uses the opportunity to regain guard. Mongo advances position into side control! Mongo trying to control the position but Castro is working away. Castro is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mongo connects with a decent elbow. #CUT2# It looks like Jeff Castro has been cut.
