#R1# Ximenes connects with a body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Scorps. Ximenes does a little dance to reset his feet. Ximenes looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jab, jab by Ximenes - just one landing. The crowd cheers as Ximenes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Scorps doesn't seem phased though. Scorps swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ximenes scores with a punch to the head. Ximenes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Scorps misses with a hook. Scorps looks to land a left hand but Ximenes moved out of range nicely. Scorps misses the shot to the body. Scorps throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ximenes cracks Scorps with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ximenes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Scorps throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ximenes throws out a counter right but Scorps avoids it with no problem. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scorps misses with a straight right. Ximenes lands with an uppercut that bounces Scorps off the cage and back into range. Scorpy Scorps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ximenes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Scorps swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ximenes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Scorpss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ximenes cracks a nice hook into Scorps's ribs. Scorps could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#KD2# Ximenes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scorps sprawling to the canvas! Scorps rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ximenes finish him?!
#ROC2# Scorps is rocked! Ximenes cracks Scorps with a hook to the temple - Scorps is on wobbly legs here! Ximenes swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Scorps falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ximenes wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Agostin Ximenes! Agostin Ximenes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Motts connects with the punch.#CUT2# It looks like Scorpy Scorps has been cut.#KD2# Motts feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scorps sprawling to the canvas! Scorps rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Motts finish him?!
#ROC2# Scorps is rocked! Scorps throws a hook but Motts avoids it easily. Oh Scorps is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Scorps swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scorps seems to have got his legs back now. Motts scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Scorps is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Motts changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Motts throws an uppercut from hell that sends Scorps clean off his feet! He's out cold! Motts stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mengel has eaten all the pies! Scorps slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#SUB# Mengel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scorps has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mengel has managed to get both his arms back between Scorps's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Scorps is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mengel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #SUB# Scorps throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Harry Mengel dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Scorps is in Mengel's guard.#SUB2# Scorps thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Scorps is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mengel keeping moving, preventing Scorps from controlling successfully. Scorps works a leg free and moves into half guard. Scorps really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mengel.
