Studd wants the takedown. Badass is fighting it off but Studd persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Badass's guard against the cage.#SUB2#
Studd has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Badass to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Studd is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Badass pulls down on the head and he's put Studd to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Total Badass!
A pretty intense looking Total Badass took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.

Studd turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Studd manages to end up in side control.
Studd postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ammula is looking to reverse the position.
Studd looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ammula is avoiding damage well.
Studd fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Ammula isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Studd stacks Ammula on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Studd!

Bernard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Studd's waist but Studd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bernard off to one side. #TD2#
Studd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Studd unloads with some huge strikes here! Bernard is out! Studd wins by brutal knockout!

Studd manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Prince on his heels. He'll look to pass Prince's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Studd stands up over Prince, holding on to his feet. Studd throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Prince is out cold! Studd lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
