Danny slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Eaton throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Eaton has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Danny has passed into side control.
Danny controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eaton wants to control but Danny postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eaton is trying to escape the position but Danny is controlling the position. Danny wants to stand but Eaton has his arm trapped. Eaton struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1##SUB2# Danny is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Let's hope that Danny has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#SUB2# Danny working for a submission but Eaton is keeping him at bay. This has been an exciting period of action! Danny controlling from mount. Danny loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Eaton scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Danny land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Danny stands and salutes the crowd.

Eaton wants to control the position but Daniels says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. #SUB2# Daniels is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Eaton sees it coming and defends easily. Daniels tries to pass to full mount but Eaton defends it. Eaton wants to control but Daniels is keeping busy and won't allow it. #SUB2# Daniels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eaton defends it well. Eaton controlling the position well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T1# Daniels is looking to stand but Eaton has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

ChargyMargy gets underhooks to prevent Eaton's takedown attempt.
ChargyMargy tries to break the clinch but Eaton is controlling the position. Eaton is looking for a takedown. Eaton goes for a takedown in the clinch but ChargyMargy prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Eaton. That's going to take a lot out of him. A battle for position here, against the cage. Eaton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but ChargyMargy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Eaton tries to pull guard but ChargyMargy won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# ChargyMargy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

#R1##TD# Eaton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.#ES2# Correditi has his feet on Eaton's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Correditi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Eaton tries to counter by clinching up but Correditi breaks away and moves out of range.#TD2# Correditi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Correditi in side control, just content to control the action for now. Eaton is trying to control Correditi 's posture but Correditi avoids it. Eaton is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Correditi scores with punches from side control. Eaton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Correditi connects with a decent elbow. Correditi looks up at the clock and then as Eaton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Correditi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Eaton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Correditi arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Eaton's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Let's see if he can advance position further. Eaton tries to roll over but Rice keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rice slows the pace down in half guard. Eaton flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Eaton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Eaton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eaton controlling the position. Eaton trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Rice is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Eaton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1# Eaton pulls Rice in close to prevent any damage. Rice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eaton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Eaton is striking off his back. That was a close round but I would say that Eduardo Eaton will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2##TD2# Eaton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rice to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rice would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Nicholas Rice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
