#R1# Deville takes a kick to the side of the head. Deville misses with the combination.
Carsara misses with a wild body shot. An inside leg kick from Deville misses. Deville smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A solid leg kick lands there for Carsara.
Deville tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carsara was well out of range. Poor timing from Deville. Carsara walks into a jab. Carsara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Deville works over Carsara's head and body with a nice combination.#CUT2# Claudio Carsara's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Deville looks to land a left hand but Carsara moved out of range nicely. Carsara lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.#TD2# Deville shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carsara is trying to defend but Deville finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Deville is thwarting Carsara's attempts to control the position. Carsara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deville on the ground.#SU2# Deville decides to stand up. #T1# Deville misses with an uppercut. Carsara saw that one coming.#CL# Carsara clinches. Carsara missing with knees to the body.
Deville swings wildly with an uppercut but Carsara uses good head movement to avoid it. Carsara is looking to break free of the clinch but Deville has double underhooks. Carsara has a couple of punches blocked by Deville.

Deville pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carsara went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A slapping body kick lands there for Carsara. Deville connects with the punch. Carsara throws a combination that misses #CL2# and Deville holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Carsara blocks a punch to the side of the head.

#T2# Carsara darts in looking for a takedown but Deville gets double underhooks and turns Carsara into the cage. Deville throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As Deville looks to move away, Carsara throws a big counter combo but Deville just gets out of the way. Deville lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carsara circles away quickly and effectively. Deville looks winded! A head kick by Deville misses enabling Carsara to counter with a crisp jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Deville misses with a left hand and Carsara counters with a one-two to the body. Carsara closes the distance and clinches up with Deville, looking for a takedown. Carsara pushes Deville against the cage but Deville circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carsara. Deville looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Claudio Carsara. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deville jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carsara takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

#KD# and Carsara counters with a crisp one two that drops Deville! Carsara thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Deville to his feet! Deville is in big trouble!#ROC# Deville is rocked! A nice inside leg kick there by Carsara. That's going to slow Deville down. Carsara throws a powerful right kick. Deville tried to block low but the kick was high! Deville was taken right off of his feet! Carsara jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

#R1##TD2# Carsara gets caught napping as Tonni dives in and scores a takedown. Carsara manages to retain guard. Tonni not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carsara is trying to control the position but Tonni postures up. Carsara wants to control but Tonni passes easily into half guard.
Tonni working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Tonni is nestled in close to Carsara, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tonni is figuring out what he wants to do next.#SUB2# Tonni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tonni winds up and cracks Carsara with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tonni has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Temp Spar Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.#T1# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tonni drops an elbow to the side of Carsara's head. Carsara might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tonni not doing much here.

Tonni slows the pace down in half guard. Carsara tries to roll over but Tonni keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tonni takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tonni takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T3# Carsara wants to get back to full guard. Carsara has hold of Tonni's hands but Tonni slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.#SUB2# Tonni seems to be working for a kimura but Carsara defends the submission attempt. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tonni connects with a nice short shot to Carsara's temple. Tonni working Carsara over with strikes. Tonni drops an elbow to the side of Carsara's head. Tonni lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Tonni is controlling the pace.

Tonni seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Tonni controlling the action here. Carsara is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tonni scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Tonni dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Carsara is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tonni connects with a decent elbow. Tonni in side control lands a decent elbow. Tonni lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Carsara is trying to get back to half guard. Carsara gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Carsara tries to reverse the position but Tonni maintains control. Carsara taking shots to the head. #CUT2# It looks like Claudio Carsara has been cut. Carsara working to try and regain half guard.
Carsara is bucking up trying to escape but Tonni cracks him with another couple of good strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tonni postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Carsara looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#T1# Tonni raining down hammerfists from mount. Carsara is bucking up trying to escape but Tonni cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Tonni has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Carsara is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
#SUB2# Tonni with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tonni lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Tonni lands a big elbow. Carsara in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
