#R1##CL2# McClean gets in close and instigates a clinch. McClean tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Norton really is a fat lump. McClean jumps guard but Norton stands there with McClean around his waist. McClean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McClean throws a punch but it's blocked by Norton. McClean drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Norton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cole Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane McClean. Norton is defending well against a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# McClean ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McClean no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Norton controls the pace of the fight for a moment. McClean wants to control the position but Norton says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. #T1# McClean is trying to maintain the position but Norton is very close to passing his half guard. McClean tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Norton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McClean.

Norton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McClean for as long as he can get away with.
