Huge tries to pull guard but Penn forces him back to his feet, against the cage.#BC# Huge's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Huge throws an overhand right that lands on Penn's shoulder, as Penn tries to avoid the shot. Huge ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Huge swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huge looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Penn is fending him off so far but Huge persists. Nope, Penn circles away and we're back to standing. Penn appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huge moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Huge is looking to counter the offense by Penn and move into the clinch. Penn plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Huge defending well as Penn loads up on a big left hand. #T1# Huge shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Penn sprawls well. Penn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huge gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Huge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cheba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Penn takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Penn scores with a jab to the jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Stanislaw Cheba has been cut. Penn moves out of range of the strikes. Penn lands with a shot to the body. Penn slips a jab from Cheba. Penn misses with a body kick. Penn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cheba's sensitive parts. Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
