Medina is looking to break free of the clinch but Timms has double underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timms working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Timms is pressed up against the cage. Medina has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Timms down to the mat. Timms avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Phil Timms has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Medina.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Timms! Medina is out on his feet! Timms rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Medina is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Medina is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

He's out cold! Brown gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Medina closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boomer's guard.
Medina pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boomer is keeping the position for now.
Medina passes Boomer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Medina tries to pass to full mount but Boomer defends it.
Boomer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Medina. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Medina passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boomer!
Medina takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
