De Silva and Cantrell are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. De Silva throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Cantrell into next week! Ooooh that was huge! De Silva knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Owen De Silva!
Owen De Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
