Evans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Evans wants to control but Briggs is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Evans wants to control but Briggs is keeping busy.
#T1# Briggs wants to stand up but Evans manages to regain full guard. Briggs stays in close to Evans's body and controls the position. Andersen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Evans on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Andersen feints a jab promting Evans to slip. Andersen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Evans slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2# It looks like Everette Evans has been cut. Lurifax Andersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andersen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Evans looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Andersen ducks under a wild hook from Evans. Andersen lands a jab-cross combination. Andersen steps in with a hook that catches Evans right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Andersen follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Evans looks absolutely devastated.
