Zaytsev winds up and cracks Francis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zaytsev drops an elbow to the side of Francis's head. Francis is trying to get back to full guard. Francis throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

#R1##TD2# Maximus gets the takedown into side control. Francis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Maximus's best efforts. Maximus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Francis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Francis is staying active underneath Maximus, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Francis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Francis wants to improve his position but Maximus is controlling well.
Maximus wants to pass to mount but Francis is defending the position. #SUB# Francis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maximus pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #SU2# Hendrix stands up. Francis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hendrix steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Francis.#CL2# Hendrix pushes Francis up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Francis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hendrix avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Francis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hendrix is defending well. Francis wants a takedown.

#R1##CL2# The Hatchet rushes Francis and presses him up against the cage.#TD# Francis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Hatchet uses from the top position. Francis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Francis throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The Hatchet tries to circle away but Francis has him pinned against the cage. The Hatchet stops a takedown attempt from Francis.

That's better than Blackwater was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Francis is looking to reverse the position. Francis throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
