It's a sloppy attempt though and Sidrovitch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sidrovitch wants to get up but he can't break Henderson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#CL2# Sidrovitch clinches up against the cage. Henderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sidrovitch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sidrovitch prevents a takedown attempt there.

Henderson wants to control for a moment but Sidrovitch uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sidrovitch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Henderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sidrovitch on the ground.#T3# Henderson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Sidrovitch is pressing down on Henderson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sidrovitch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henderson's guard. #REVB# Henderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sidrovitch controlling from the top position. Henderson wants to hit a switch here but Sidrovitch passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Henderson there! Sidrovitch controlling his opponent. #T4# Sidrovitch raining down hammerfists from mount. Henderson tries to hold on but Sidrovitch postures up. Sidrovitch controlling the position easily from mount. As Sidrovitch looks to move away, Henderson throws a big counter combo but Sidrovitch just gets out of the way. Henderson gets off balance looking for a body kick#TD2# and Sidrovitch counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sidrovitch has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Henderson is looking to improve his position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Let's hope that Sidrovitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Henderson is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Sidrovitch jumps into side control! Henderson wants to control but Sidrovitch postures up. Sidrovitch is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Henderson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Henderson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sidrovitch asserts his dominance and retains side control. Henderson tries to bench press Sidrovitch off him but Sidrovitch keeps the position. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#SU2# Sidrovitch has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Henderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sidrovitch's head backwards.#CL2# Sidrovitch clinches up with Henderson and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Sidrovitch drags the fight down to the ground.

Henderson wants to control from the top but Sidrovitch keeps moving. Sidrovitch pulls Henderson in close to prevent any damage. #SUB2# Henderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#T3##SUB2# Sidrovitch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Henderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Henderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sidrovitch looking for a sweep. Not yet Sidrovitch, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sidrovitch trying to strike off his back.

Henderson is trying to control. Sidrovitch wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sidrovitch tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sidrovitch can do anything to dispel that myth.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sidrovitch slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#SUB2# Henderson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Sidrovitch has locked up a guillotine! Sidrovitch's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Henderson is holding on here and Sidrovitch must be using up a lot of energy. Henderson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Sidrovitch gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
