Howes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Scott lands a jab to Howes's midsection.
Nice sprawl there from Scott as Howes shoots in.
Scott looks to land a combination but Howes avoids it well.
Scott cracks Howes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Howes shoots in but Scott avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Howes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howes tries to clinch
and Scott counters with a series of strikes. Howes will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott stuns Howes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Scott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Scott knocks Howes out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
