Grace wants to control but Backman is keeping him busy.
Grace uses his free foot to push down on Backman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Backman.
Backman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Backman tries to get out of the position.#SUB2#
Grace is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Backman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Backman shrugs it off.
Backman wants to hold on but Grace pushes him away.

He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.

Grace takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Schrute pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Grace back to the cage. Schrute follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Schrute punishes Grace's body with a nice straight punch.
Grace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schrute defends it nicely.
Schrute scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Grace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schrute swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Grace moves to clinch but Schrute breaks away
and Grace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Schrute stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schrute wants it to stay on the feet.
