#R1# Moser cracks DePhillips with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. DePhillips drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Moser lands a jab-cross combination. #CL# Moser rushes DePhillips and presses him up against the cage. Moser is defending well against a takedown attempt. Moser lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of DePhillips backwards. Moser has had enough of the clinch but DePhillips keeps him there for the moment. Moser throws a blind hook that connects with the side of DePhillipss head. A short right from Moser on the inside. Moser lands a shoulder strike. This has been an exciting period of action! Moser working some nice short punches in the clinch.#BC# Moser breaks the clinch.
#CL# Moser clinches. Moser lands an uppercut.#T1# Moser cracks DePhillips with a nice body shot. Moser pushes DePhillips back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. DePhillips tries to pull guard but Moser forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Moser is leaning against DePhillips and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. DePhillips tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brian Moser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kage DePhillips. A hook to the body from Moser.
DePhillips looks winded! Still in the clinch, Moser scores with a nice short uppercut.#BC# Moser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #CL# Moser clinches up with DePhillips and pushes him back against the cage. Moser lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.#BC# Moser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Moser scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. DePhillips doesn't seem bothered though. DePhillips takes a jab right on the kisser.
#T2# DePhillips closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #ROC# DePhillips is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moser is stalking DePhillips. DePhillips circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Moser, and it's lights out! DePhillips really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Moser! A less than humble Brian Moser misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
