McGregor's coach down at Cozad MMA Los Angeles was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McGregor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and McGregor counters with a crisp one two that drops Davis! McGregor thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Davis to his feet! Davis is in big trouble!#ROC2#Davis is rocked!
McGregor lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Davis head around and knocks him out cold! McGregor hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor swings away with a body shot that misses
and Chernokov counters with a stiff right hand.
McGregor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chernokov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Chernokov lands a really nice looking cross but McGregor seems unphased.
We've been told by McGregor's head coaches at Star Studded Beef that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McGregor slips a straight right by Chernokov.
Chernokov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McGregor lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
McGregor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chernokov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chernokov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Rochester counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGregor won't be happy with that.
Rochester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB2#
Rochester has worked his way into a potential kimura here. McGregor is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rochester yanks on the arm and McGregor is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rochester.

A pretty intense looking Arlo Rochester took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.

Possibly an early stoppage but McGregor doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
