#R1##CL2# Scott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Byrd, pushing him back against the cage. Byrd lands with a right to the head. #BC2# Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott shoots in but no luck this time. Byrd looks for a takedown but Scott sprawls well. Scott wants to counter with a clinch but Byrd pushes him away. Scott misses with a takedown attempt and Byrd counters with a nice uppercut. Scott looks winded! Byrd throws a nice head kick!

Tomas Byrd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Scott.#BC# Byrd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Byrd in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott tries to control but Byrd wriggling away. Scott might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Byrd haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Byrd tries to hold on but Scott pushes him away. Peter Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Byrd holds on for dear life, controlling Scott's posture momentarily. Byrd is wriggling around trying to escape.

#R1##CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Ingram is trying to pull guard but Scott turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Scott gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ingram.
#TD# Ingram decides to pull guard. Scott working some strikes from top position. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Scott seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ingram trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. #SUB# Scott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ingram has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scott has managed to get both his arms back between Ingram's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ingram trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Scott wants to control from the top but Ingram keeps moving. Scott with a nice head shot there. Scott stacks Ingram on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Scott! Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Scott advances nicely into full mount. Oh Ingram is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Scott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ingram seems to have got his legs back now. Ingram wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
