#R1##TD# Materla throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Expert was covering up waiting for the punch and Materla finishes the takedown easily into guard. Expert wants to get back to his feet but Materla is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Materla is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Expert is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Materla trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Expert wants to get back to his feet but Materla is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Expert being controlled here, momentarily. Materla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Expert swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1# Materla throws a big elbow that misses. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Materla tries to score a power double leg takedown but Expert sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Materla somewhat. A nice side step and Expert releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Expert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Materla paws at him with a jab and circles away. Expert fails to land the takedown.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Materla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Expert as he avoids it easily. Expert keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Expert gets caught napping as Materla dives in and scores a takedown. Expert manages to retain guard.#T3# Materla seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Expert working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Materla. #SUB# Materla drops back, looking for a kneebar! Expert looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Expert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Expert! #REVB##T4# Materla is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Expert stands up. Materla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Expert manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Expert appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Expert fails with an attempt to clinch.
Materla feinted with a counter takedown. Materla tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Expert was well out of range. Poor timing from Materla. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Michal Materla will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Expert wants to clinch. No luck for Materla with that takedown attempt. Expert is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Materla with a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Materla has his takedown stuffed letting Expert counter with a right hand. #T1# Materla takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.#CL2# Materla gets tackled into the cage by Expert. Expert maintains the clinch. #TD# Materla gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Expert looks like he's trying to stand up.
Materla wants to take a breather but Expert is having none of it. Materla keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#ES2# Expert makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Expert tries to close the distance and clinch but Materla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #T2# Materla closes the distance and clinches up with Expert, looking for a takedown. Materla pushes Expert against the cage but Expert circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Expert now looks to counter with a shot at the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him. Expert moves in looking to clinch but Materla pushes him off.#CL2# Expert clinches up with Materla and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Materla changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Expert fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Materla is defended easily by Expert. Action Expert showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. #R3# Materla has his takedown stuffed and Expert finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Materla with a lazy takedown attempt and Expert counters with a nice body shot. Expert wants to clinch. And that's the end of the fight! Action Expert comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Expert has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A countering left hand to the body from WoW misses. Materla shoots in for a takedown but WoW shows good takedown defense. Materla throws a head kick that misses. WoW swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.#CL# Materla gets a clinch. #TD# Materla pulls guard. Materla is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. WoW is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. WoW wanted to stand there but Materla had control of the position. Materla is looking to stand up but WoW isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Materla seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SU2# WoW decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Materla, up you get! #TD# Materla closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Materla lands in his opponent's guard. WoW working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Materla. Materla wants to get up but he can't break WoW's closed guard. Materla throws a series of punches but WoW avoids them all with ease. WoW is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Materla with a body shot. WoW is trying to defend but Materla finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.#ES2# WoW manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. And that's the end of the fight! WoW WoW comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well WoW has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
