Dan feints and as Freeman raises his hands in defense, Dan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Freeman wants to hit a switch here but Dan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Freeman there!
Dan wants to take his opponent's back but Freeman doesn't allow it.
Freeman wants to control but Dan is having none of it.#SUB2#
Dan is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dan extends the arm and Freeman is forced to tap!

Jyrkka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Freeman's guard.
Jyrkka is fighting to break Freeman's control of his arms but Freeman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Penn.
Freeman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Penn after a bit of a struggle.
Freeman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Penn just stands there and leans against the cage.
Freeman is trying to force a seperation but Penn has the dominant position.

Still in half guard, Britt seems content to control.

Britt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Britt fails to advance to Freeman's back.
Freeman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Freeman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
