#R1# Mountain fails with the takedown#CL# and Ayers counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mountain wants to break the clinch but can't.
#TD# Ayers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ayers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ayers is adopting a defensive guard. Ayers continues to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1##SUB2# Mountain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ayers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mountain has Ayers in his guard.#REVR# Ayers working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mountain has momentary wrist control but Ayers slips an elbow through the middle. Ayers cracks Mountain with a solid left hand.#T2# Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ayers's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ayers works over Mountain with some ground and pound from guard. Ayers makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ayers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ayers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mountain's head. Ayers scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ayers makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#SUB2# Mountain is looking for a triangle here but Ayers uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Mountain looks winded! Ayers working the ground and pound.#SU# Ayers decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T3##TD# Ayers shoots in and gets a takedown into Mountain's guard. Mountain is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ayers dives into side control.
Mountain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ayers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#REVB# Ayers landing a few strikes. Mountain is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ayers connects with a decent elbow. Mountain takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
#SUB# Ayers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mountain, who protects the arm well. #SUB# Ayers in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mountain is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

#R1# Mountain misses with a takedown and Tillman counters with a nice leg kick. Mountain fails in his attempt to clinch. Mountain tries to clinch but Tillman is having none of it. #KD2# Mountain lands a big head kick that sends Tillman tumbling to the mat! Mountain takes a step backwards and waves Tillman back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT2# It looks like Jesse Tillman has been cut.#TD# Tillman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mountain is trying to escape back to his feet but Tillman uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mountain seems a little lost for a moment, as Tillman dominates the positioning.#T1##SUB# Tillman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mountain wants to control but Tillman postures up. Mountain is being controlled here. Tillman really is a fat lump. Tillman lands an elbow. Tillman controlling from side mount. #SU# Tillman stands up. Mountain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tillman pinned against the cage. Tillman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #T2# Mountain doesn't manage to clinch there - Tillman circles away.
Tillman throws a big counter combination but Mountain scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Mountain shoots in for a takedown but Tillman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jesse Tillman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Mountain.#TD# Tillman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tillman slows the pace down. #SUB# Tillman tries for a kimura but Mountain is defending well. #SUB# Tillman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mountain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. #T3# Mountain seems a little lost for a moment, as Tillman dominates the positioning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Tillman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #SU# Tillman decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tillman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tillman wants it to stay on the feet. Mountain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tillman as he jumps to the side. #T4# Mountain shoots and misses #CL# and Tillman counters by moving into the clinch. Tillman has had enough of the clinch but Mountain keeps him there for the moment.#BC# Tillman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tillman leaves Mountain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A counter left hand to the body from Tillman misses its target. Mountain throws a half hearted mid kick. Mountain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tillman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mountain looks winded! Mountain wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mountain throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Tillman crashing down! Tillman tries to stagger back to his feet but Mountain just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Tillman asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
