#R1# West getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A nice combination there by West.
West lands an overhand right. Kizota's hands are dropping dangerously low here and West connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kizota scrambles back to his feet. Kizota tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but West defends well and Kizota ends up having to push West into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. David Mwamba Kizota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kizota with a lazy takedown attempt and West counters with a series of strikes. Kizota will be more careful next time no doubt. Good exchange - West coming out on top. Kizota chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before West can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD# Kizota is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in West's half guard. Kizota thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. West has hold of Kizota's hands but Kizota slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kizota looks to land a strike but West avoids it nicely and regains full guard. West utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kizota is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #ROC# West is rocked! Kizota is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. West is still in real trouble! Can Kizota finish him? Kizota arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! West's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
