Van Cleefe throws a counter combo. Van Cleefe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. King throws a leg kick which misses Van Cleefe's front leg but catches the back leg as Van Cleefe tries to avoid it. King throws a sloppy body shot

King throws a quick inside leg kick. King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Cleefe manages to avoid it. As King backs off Van Cleefe throws a huge counter combo but King manages to avoid it all. King thuds a left hand into Van Cleefe's body. King throws a head kick but Van Cleefe moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Van Cleefe's calf. Van Cleefe misses with a two punch combination.

King throws a sloppy head kick and Van Cleefe moves out of range easily. King throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Van Cleefe. King throws a predictable looking body shot
and Van Cleefe counters with a lovely shot to the body. Van Cleefe's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. King throws a nice head kick!
King throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. King misses with a head kick.
King backing away here, and Van Cleefe unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Both fighters circling a little - King finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A jab lands there for King. King looks to land a body kick but Van Cleefe moved away. Van Cleefe was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Van Cleefe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.#T2# King lands a high kick!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King throws out a loose jab but Van Cleefe uses good head movement to avoid it. Despite the aggression on Van Cleefe's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. King misses with a jab to the body
and Van Cleefe counters with a right, left combo that wobbles King badly! Van Cleefe follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks King out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Van Cleefe finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lee Van Cleefe! A very excited looking Lee Van Cleefe made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

#R1# King tries to clinch up.#CL# Prime rushes King and presses him up against the cage. King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Prime is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. King tries to work over Prime's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #BC# Prime breaks from the clinch.

#TD# Prime works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We've been hearing that Prime has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. King looks winded!#SUB# Prime drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Prime jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Prime trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Prime passes easily into side control. Nice work. Prime is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Prime cracks King with a big right hand but King just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prime tries to pass to full mount but King defends it. Prime perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Prime looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Prime is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for King! #SUB# Prime working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Prime moves to his opponent's back but King bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Prime. Prime is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. #T2# King trying to control but Prime is working from the bottom. King postures up in Prime's guard and throws a big left but Prime blocks it. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Prime slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat. King fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Prime is looking to counter the offense by King and move into the clinch. Hoptimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yao King.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Prime to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Prime slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. King being controlled for a moment. #SUB# Prime wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Prime working away. Prime is really dominating this fight. King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Prime's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Prime's back! Prime wants to escape the position.
