#R1##TD2# Zappa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Parker to score an easy takedown into full guard. Parker tries to free his leg and advance position but Zappa is retaining full guard. Zappa is controlling Parker's posture. Zappa looking to control.
#SUB2# Parker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #ES# Zappa pushes Parker off and scrambles back to his feet.
Zappa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zappa wants it to stay on the feet. Zappa throws a body kick that misses #TD2# and Parker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zappa won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker looks up at the clock and then as Zappa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Parker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Zappa is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Parker in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Zappa tries to buck Parker off but Parker is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Parker trying to control the position but Zappa is working away. Zappa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.#SUB2# Parker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zappa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Parker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zappa keeps working. Zappa is trying to get back to half guard. Parker throws a strike aimed at the side of Zappa's head but Zappa avoids it well. Zappa trying to remain calm as Parker controls from the top position. Parker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Zappa is landing a low percentage of strikes. That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Zappa will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Zappa is looking to clinch. Zappa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker. Parker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zappa avoids it really well and circles away.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Parker closes the distance but Zappa moves to the side and Zappa counters with a nice body shot. Zappa misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Parker fails to land the takedown. Parker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zappa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Parker scrambles back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! Parker wants to stand but Zappa is controlling the position. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zappa tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. Ryan Zappa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ryan Zappa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Zappa, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Zappa against the cage but Zappa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Zappa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Zappa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Parker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Davidson wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment. Davidson trying to keep a closed guard but Parker is proving a slippery customer.

Parker looking to pass the guard. #T1# Parker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
