Hed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hed lands in his opponent's guard.
Dimka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hed stands up over Dimka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dimka is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dimka shoots in looking for a takedown. Edson tries to sprawl out of it but Dimka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Edson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yoel Edson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Edson does no damage.
Dimka half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Edson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dimka tries to avoid it but Edson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dimka to the ground. Dimka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edson leaves Dimka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Edson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
