Good work by Austin as he checks the leg kick. Austin throws a big counter combination but Redneck scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Austin blocks a head kick by Redneck.

Austin lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Whippet is looking to stand up but Austin won't let him. Whippet throws a strike but Austin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR##SUB2# Whippet has his foot on Austin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Austin works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB2# Whippet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Austin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Austin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanchez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Austin closes the distance and clinches up with Sanchez, looking for a takedown. Austin pushes Sanchez against the cage but Sanchez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#CL2# Sanchez darts in and clinches Austin up against the cage.
