Shiotani tries a low kick but Park avoids it. Shiotani takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Shiotani tries to work over Park's front leg with a kick but Park checks it. Shiotani circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shiotani was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#TD# Shiotani bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Shiotani scores with a couple of short elbows. Park is trying to work for a sweep but Shiotani has mounted him! Shiotani working Park over with strikes here. Park is desperately trying to improve his position but Shiotani has a good base and remains in mount. Shiotani controlling the pace for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Park wants to control but Shiotani is having none of it. Park really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shiotani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. #R1# Park shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hanma defends it nicely. Hanma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Park tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hanma defends well and Park ends up having to push Hanma into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hanma avoids the head kick by Park.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hanma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Park counters with a one-two to the body. Hanma manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Park lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hanma backwards. A frustrated look appears on Park's face as he tries to break the clinch. #BC# Hanma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hanma throws a head kick that misses. Park throws a head kick that misses. Hanma throws a counter high kick but Park was just alert enough to avoid it. Hanma misses with a body kick. Hanma throws a leg kick that is checked and Park counters with a straight punch to the midsection.#T1# Hanma seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Park shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hanma is backing up but Park catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hanma covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Park Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
