The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sonnen grinds an elbow into Didache's temple. Didache is looking to reverse the position. Sonnen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Didache some visible discomfort.
Sonnen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Didache is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sonnen off and has taken his back! Didache looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

#R1# Won takes a swing at Didache's ribcage but misses. Didache appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Didache. Nice takedown defense from Didache. No joy for Won on that attempt. Didache is looking to counter the offense by Won and move into the clinch. Didache swings and misses with a hook to the body.

#R1##TD# Didache feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Didache looking to sit in guard and control but God gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. God passes Didache's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB2# God wants to work for an arm triangle but Didache is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
God works his way into full mount! #SUB2# God with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
